FAQS

Laser Hair Removal

  • Laser hair removal is recommended to be scheduled every 4 weeks for a series of 6 to 12 sessions to achieve optimal results. After completing those initial treatments, touch-up sessions are recommended when necessary to maintain smooth skin and ensure any regrowth is effectively managed.

  • It is recommended to arrive for your appointment cleanly shaven in the area of treatment to ensure the best possible results. Additionally, please refrain from applying any oils, lotions, or make-up prior to your treatment to maintain optimal skin condition. It is also important to avoid coming in with sunburn on the area that is being treated, as this can interfere with the effectiveness of the procedure and cause discomfort.

  • It is mandatory to be completely off of all types of antibiotics for a minimum of 5 days before undergoing any treatment. Having antibiotics in your system while treatment is being applied can potentially result in significant blistering of the skin.

  • You will feel an initial sensation of heat that is quickly followed by a refreshing burst of cool air. This experience is often described as feeling similar to a “hot rubber band pop.” Importantly, the skin does not exhibit any lingering pain or discomfort after the treatment concludes.

  • Typically, there is no significant downtime after treatment, allowing clients to resume their daily activities almost immediately. However, some clients may experience mild itching or small bumps resulting from a histamine response to the treatment. Fortunately, this reaction usually subsides within a few hours of the procedure. To help soothe and calm the affected area, it is recommended to apply aloe or hydrocortisone cream, which can provide relief.
